Assumes investments at the start of each month and a constant annual return compounded monthly. Actual mutual-fund returns are not fixed — 15 year projection is indicative only.
How to use it
- Enter your monthly investment.
- Enter the return you expect per year (equity funds are often modelled at 10–12%).
- Set the number of years and, optionally, an annual step-up %.
- See the invested amount, estimated returns and future value, plus a year-by-year table.
FAQ
- Are SIP returns guaranteed?
- No. Mutual funds are market-linked; the return you enter is an assumption, not a promise. Actual returns vary year to year and can be negative over short periods.
- What is a step-up SIP?
- You increase the SIP amount by a fixed percentage every year — usually in line with your salary growth — which significantly raises the final corpus.
