A cleaner copy of your own licence

DL Card Generator turns your public driving-licence record into a print-ready front and back card, laid out to match the real Smart Card design.

Why it exists

Physical licence cards fade, delaminate and pick up scratches that make the printed QR unreadable. Keeping a crisp, correctly-formatted copy is useful for your own records, for filling forms, and as an offline backup you can reprint when the card wears out.

The generator reads the same details the government portal already shows for your licence and arranges them on a card that looks right the moment it downloads — no manual measuring, no fighting with a template.

How it works

  1. You enter your DL number and date of birth and tick the consent box.
  2. A headless browser fetches your record from the Sarathi Parivahan verification page — the same data anyone can look up with those two fields.
  3. Name, address, blood group, validity dates, licencing authority and vehicle classes drop into an editable form.
  4. You review, fix anything the portal left blank, and download.

See the walkthrough on the home page for screenshots.

What it is not

  • It is not a government-issued document and has no legal validity.
  • It is not affiliated with or endorsed by Parivahan, MoRTH or any RTO.
  • It cannot create a licence you do not already hold — it only reformats an existing record.

Full detail is on the Compliance & data use page.
