What the service is
A tool that formats Indian driving-licence details into a print-ready reference card. You can enter the details yourself or auto-fill them from the public verification page, then generate a front and back card. Generating a card costs prepaid credits; you can also generate cards through an API.
Where fetched data comes from
The auto-fill feature reads from sarathi.parivahan.gov.in, which returns licence information to anyone who supplies a valid DL number and the matching date of birth. No credentials, OTP or login are used or bypassed, and only the record for the number you enter is retrieved. The fetched record is not stored on our side.
How your data is handled
- Accounts are stored in a managed database with row-level security. See the Privacy Policy for the full inventory.
- Card images are stored only if you opt to save them, in a private bucket, and are automatically deleted after the retention window (30 days by default).
- The full licence details (name, address, DOB, photo, signature) are rendered in your browser and are not written to our database.
- Manual payments are verified by a person: you submit a UPI/UTR reference and a screenshot; the reference is stored in the database and the screenshot in private storage (auto-deleted after ~180 days).
- Analytics (Google Analytics) load only after you accept the cookie banner.
Payments & refunds
- Credits are prepaid via UPI or bank transfer and verified manually before your wallet is credited.
- If a card fails to render, the credits for that attempt are refunded automatically.
- Otherwise wallet credits are non-refundable except where the law requires or the operator agrees. Full terms are in the Terms of Use.
Not an official document
- A generated card has no legal validity and is not a substitute for the physical Smart Card DL.
- It must not be presented to police, courts, employers or any authority as if it were an issued licence.
- This project is not affiliated with, authorised by, or endorsed by Sarathi Parivahan, the Ministry of Road Transport & Highways, NIC, or any State Transport Authority / RTO.
See the Disclaimer for the full statement.
State Emblem & trademarks
The card artwork reproduces the State Emblem of India for visual accuracy. Use of the emblem is regulated by the State Emblem of India (Prohibition of Improper Use) Act, 2005. Keeping a personal reference copy of your own licence is a private use; printing, distributing or displaying the emblem for any official-looking purpose is not permitted. “Parivahan” and “Sarathi” and related names belong to their respective owners and are named here only to describe where the data originates.
Grievance & takedown
For a data request, a complaint, or to report misuse, contact the operator through the contact page. Under the DPDP Act the operator must designate a grievance officer and publish their contact there. If a grievance is not resolved, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
