FAQ
- How much can I put in PPF?
- Between ₹500 and ₹1,50,000 per financial year. Deposits above ₹1.5 lakh earn no interest and aren't eligible for deduction.
- Is PPF tax-free?
- Yes — it's EEE: the deposit qualifies for 80C deduction, the interest is tax-free, and the maturity amount is tax-free.
