Image to Text (OCR)
Upload an image and get its text back. A free vision model returns clean Markdown, plain text, a Markdown table (for forms and spreadsheets), a translation into any of 55+ languages, or whatever your own instructions ask for. Good with printed text, screenshots and clear handwriting.
How to use it
- Drop in an image or click to choose one (PNG, JPG or WebP).
- Pick a format — Markdown, plain text, table, translate (choose the language), or Custom instructions.
- Complete the quick verification if shown, then click “Extract text”.
- Copy the result or download it as a .txt / .md file.
FAQ
- Is my image uploaded or stored?
- The image is sent to the AI model to read it and is not saved by this site. Large images are resized in your browser first.
- How accurate is it?
- Very good on printed text, screenshots, tables and neat handwriting. Low-light photos, skewed pages or messy handwriting can produce errors — always check the output.
- Can it translate?
- Yes — choose “Translate” and pick from 55+ languages including all 22 scheduled Indian languages. It shows the original transcription and the translation.
